More than 7,250 people have been pulled from the rubble of the US-Israeli attacks on Iran since the war began on February 28, according to the Iranian Red Crescent.

Pirhossein Kolivand, head of the Iranian branch of the humanitarian agency, said rescuers had to operate under extremely difficult conditions, including during air strikes.

Kolivand added that the Iranian Red Crescent would not remain silent in the face of what he described as war crimes and violations of humanitarian law.

He said evidence of attacks on humanitarian infrastructure had been sent to international legal bodies and that the appropriate legal channels would be pursued.
