Americans have the โ€œundeniable right and the solemn dutyโ€ to demand accountability from the Trump administration over the US-Israeli โ€œwar of choiceโ€ on Iran, Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei has said.

โ€œIt is beyond dispute that the US administrationโ€™s โ€˜war of choiceโ€™ against Iran was a clear, unprovoked act of aggression,โ€ Baqaei said on X.

He posted footage of US Senator Kirsten Gillibrand at a recent Senate hearing amid mounting criticism of the war, saying, โ€œWe did not have any evidence that Iran intended to imminently attack this country in any way, shape or form.โ€
