   Clearly, the Israelis are finally fighting the way Arabs fight (not really- unlike the Arabs, the Israelis drop leaflets telling residents to leave before they move in).

   Recall school buses and kindergartens blown up, recall media, educational and religious outlets calling for the destruction of Jews, etc. Recall Arabs dancing on rooftops screaming in a frenzy for Saddam to ‘GAS THE JEWS!’

   Recall these lovely Arab dittys: “Itbach al Yahud” (slaughter the Jews)
   “Falastin balad’na w’al Yahud qalab’na” (Palestine is our land and the Jews are our dogs)
   “ba ruh, ba dam, nafdeek ya Falastin” (with our soul, with our blood, we will cleanse you oh Palestine),
   “al mawt al Yahud” (death to the Jews),
   “Khaybar Khaybar ya Yahud, jaish-Muhammad saya’ud” (Khaybar Khaybar oh Jews, the army of Muhammad will return).

   Who can forget ‘HAMAS! HAMAS! JEWS TO THE GAS or this lullaby:

   “Hamas, Hamas, Hamas the apple of my eye…In black bags
   Chunks of flesh of Jews…”

   Do yo REALLY want to compare Israel to the Arab world? Do you REALLY want to compare Israel to the Arab Janjaweed or the GIA in Algeria, who raped children before murdering them and dismembering them?

   Of course, it isn’t as if the Arab world really cared, right?

   I wonder what it is about the Israelis that makes them so special to the Arab world? What do YOU think that might be?

   Something else to consider:

   At a certain unspoken level, we understand that the Huntington thesis is right, and the Rice view is wishful thinking. After all, when French President Sarkozy and other European critics bemoan Israel’s “disproportionate” response, what really are they saying? That they expect better from the despised Jews than from Hamas. That they regard Israel as a Western society bound by civilized norms, whereas any old barbarism issuing forth from Gaza is to be excused on grounds of “desperation.”

   Hence, this slightly surreal headline from The New York Times: “Israel Rejects Cease-Fire, But Offers Gaza Aid.” For whatever that’s worth. Wafa Samir Ibrahim al-Biss, a young Palestinian woman who received considerate and exemplary treatment at an Israeli hospital in Beersheba, returned to that same hospital packed with explosives in order to blow herself up and kill the doctors and nurses who restored her to health. Well, what do you expect? It’s “desperation” born of “poverty” and “occupation.”

   If it was, it would be easy to fix. But what if it’s not? What if it’s about something more primal than land borders and economic aid?”

   It is terrible what Israel is doing in GAZA. It is a real massacre!!!
   Unfortunately, the world is watching and no one is acting to stop these savage Israeli attacks!

   I feel ashamed that I am American … I feel ashamed by the officials in my country supporting Israel in this terror.

   This link could open the eyes for other Americans or British to what Israel is really doing in Gaza.
